The Postgraduate Department of English has arranged for three convocations for its students. The first seven batches, till 2021, have already received their M.A Certificates. We have been fortunate to have illustrious guests for each of these occasions. The first convocation, held on 11^th November 2017, was graced by Prof. Paula Banerjee, the Vice Chancellor of Sanskrit University, the Registrar of the University of Calcutta, and the Head, Department of English, Jadavpur University. Students of batches 2015 and 2016, received their certificates in this event.

The second convocation, held on 30^th March 2022 after things resumed to normal, consequent of the Covid Pandemic, was graced by Chief Guest Professor Chinmoy Guha (of the University of Calcutta), and Guest of Honour and Head, Department of English, Dr. Siddhartha Biswas. Students of batches 2017, 2018 and 2019 received their certificates in this program. With these we completed the batches taking the postgraduate exam in the annual system. 

The third convocation, held on 29^th November 2023, was graced by the Registrar of the University of Calcutta, Chief Guest Professor Malini Bhattacharya (of Jadavpur University) and Special Guest Professor Nandini Bhattacharya (of Burdwan University). Students of 2020 and 2021 received their certificates in this program. It is important to note that these were our first batches with the CBCS curriculum.
