College Cooperative

The St. Paul’s Cathedral Mission College Employees’ Co-operative Credit Society Limited was formed in the year 1992 and it was duly registered under the Society Registration Act. All permanent staff members of the college can register themselves as members of the Cooperative Society. The Main functionary body comprises of the Board of Directors (BOD), who are elected by the general staff members in an election and the board remains valid for five years. Following the bye-laws of the Society, one Annual General Meeting, one Half-yearly General Meeting and at least six executive meetings of the Board of Directors of the society are held every year. Since its inception, this Society provides financial support to the members for construction of house building as well as house repairing, medical support of self and family members, education of children and other such necessities. The rate of interest on thrift and guaranteed fund and dividend on shares are decided in the AGM after audit depending upon the profit of the Society in that financial year. The Cooperative society has been running successfully for the last thirty two years and has played a significant part in the life of the members.
