Capacity Building of the Department of Political Science
- The Department follows the directive of Para 13.1 to ensure that the teachers' pedagogical knowledge, beliefs, experiences, and professional identity does have a major role in shaping the learning outcomes of their students.
- To improve their pedagogies and make reading and learning more interactive, student-centric and make classrooms inclusive spaces the Department believes in proper training, continuous professional development and effort from the teachers themselves.
- The faculty regularly participate in seminars, workshops, orientation programmes to improve communication and presentation skills, work on knowledge enrichment, improve class management and vigorously employ digital technology to aid classroom teaching.
- Our faculty try to become facilitators, navigators and pathfinder; counsellor, mentor; content creator, course designer and evaluator; programme/course content designer, creator of learning resources, evaluator, ICT expert etc, reflective practitioners and lifelong learners following the tenets highlighted in the NEP 2020 document.
